We debated writing a review on this property as it could have been a random negative experience, but just as in case…<br/>The check in process was a bit chaotic with lack of clarity around the delivery of a golf cart to pick us up from the Harbor and the place was a little confusing to find but when we found it, it was beautiful and well decorated as well as clean. The issues we had were most likely caused by the cleaning crew and security on site. The place was not sufficiently cleaned as there was unfinished laundry and old coffee grounds in coffee maker. Small but notable. The second night there was a party above us that lasted until sunrise, despite contacting Rimas, the security on site did nothing. We woke up a to a broken water pipe or some sort of leak in the ceiling at around 5am… from the unit where the part was. We notified security and nothing, the leaking continued until we checked out. Although Rimas was sympathetic, he did not fix the problem or compensate us for this. Let me start off with saying this place is absolutely beautiful. The views are breathtaking, villa gives a sense of peace. The decor of the home was beautiful and had comfortable couches and beds. They also thought about things like blankets which was helpful. <br/>Now the only few things I would say can use a bit of improvement is cleanliness. The overall home was clean, however the bathrooms could’ve used a little TLC, as well as better, fully dry towels. The villa also had ants in the bathrooms and kitchen which was a little off putting but hey, it’s an island! In addition, when sleeping it gets really hot if you don’t have the windows open (didn’t want bugs in). <br/>Lastly, upon checking out (10am) the cleaners were at our door by 9:50 am which made us feel extremely rushed out. These are the few things that can use an upgrade, other than that the stay was AMAZING! Strongly recommend! This place is all about the ocean view, which is perfect. A wraparound patio with ocean views and several seating areas. The condo is very nice, if a little dated, includes games and equipment for tennis and basketball, and has basic supplies in the kitchen. The property is set aside from the town of Avalon, which makes for a private space and lots of peace and quiet, although you'll likely want the golf cart rental if you're going back and forth. Host communicates frequently and clearly with instructions, including a helpful video on how to get up to the front door from the parking lot. L

My family found paradise! Not a day has gone by since our return home a week ago that we haven’t talked about wanting to go back ASAP!
